To follow up on the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to China in July 2022 regarding the implementation of China’s purchase of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and its derivatives, as well as Indonesian agricultural and fishery products. So an MoU is needed between these industry players in Indonesia who are members of the association and business people in China who are members of the CFNA. CFNA (China Chamber of Commerce Foodstuff, Native Produce and Animal by Product) with around 5000 members is in a strategic position to realize the aforementioned cooperation. This activity was facilitated by the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, the Indonesian Trade Attache in Beijing and the Indonesian Ministry of Trade.
The signing of this MoU was held on November 11, 2022, at the Auditorium Room of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade and online from China. The Indonesian Demersal Association (ADI), represented by Mr. William Sutioso, was one of the associations that signed the MoU with CFNA. Hopefully this collaboration can have a positive impact on ADI members and for Indonesia.
