The Indonesian Demersal Association (ADI) held a gathering on board a Phinisi ship sailing from Losari Beach, Makassar, on June 25, 2026. On this occasion, ADI invited fisheries stakeholders to develop local potential for sustainable management of FIP Snappers and Groupers, one of which is collaboration. The event was attended by the Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, the Head of the Makassar BPPMHKP, the Dean of the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University, and several NGOs, including the Indonesian Marine Conservation Foundation (YKLI), Sangkarang Ocean Dive (SOD), the Kitaji Pinisi Indonesia Foundation (YKPI), and the Romang Celebes Indonesia Foundation (YRCI).
