The virtual meeting was held on October 26, 2021, ADI and US buyers who are members of the
Indonesia Snappers Groupers (SR) Supply Chain Roundtable supported by SFP. Present on this
occasion were Mr. Mohammad Mukhlis Kamal, Executive Director of ADI, and representatives of ADI
members.
The US buyers who attended included Anova Seafood, Beaver Street Fisheries, Channel Seafood
International, Harbor Seafood, Hilo Fish, Netuni USA, Norpac Fisheries Export, North Atlantic, Pacific
Coral Seafood, Quirch Foods, Santa Monica Seafood, Sea Delight, and Seafood Imports, Inc.
On this occasion, Mr. Mukhlis conveyed ADI’s profile, participation, and contribution of ADI in the
development of Indonesian fisheries, especially Demersal. Besides that, Mr. Mukhlis also conveyed
the FIP ADI budgeting and funding needs to support ADI’s FIP activities. For this explanation, the US
buyer’s response will support ADI’s activities, both in the form of ideas and funding for the
achievement of sustainable fisheries.
