Indonesian Demersal Association

Indonesia Demersal Association (ADI) was established on 5 March 2019, to include all the actors in the sustainable demersal fisheries business and facilitate an improvement program through a national snapper-grouper FIP in Indonesia.

The role of the association is as coordination and discussion platform among snapper-grouper (demersal) processors/exporters to discuss the common issues across fisheries and work together with government and other stakeholders to find solutions.

Mission

1. To become MMAF partner in the sustainable demersal fisheries
management and participating in the decision-making process related demersal fishery policies.

2. To accommodate and deliver members aspirations and interests in improving demersal fisheries.

3. To improve compliance with national and international regulations

4. To provide data and information that can be used by the Government to improve sustainable demersal fisheries management

5. To increase cooperation and coordination with other organizations/stakeholders

6. To promote sustainable demersal fisheries

7. To recognize the equality of among business partners

Our Commitment

Supporting a better fisheries management improvement program in order to ensure sustainability of demersal fisheries resources;
Increasing the production of Indonesian demersal fish in a better way, and increase the economic value of demersal fisheries;
Improving fishery products to meet market demand both at domestic and export market;
Supporting government programs especially in the sustainability of demersal fisheries resources;
Supporting development of Indonesian demersal fisheries which includes improving the welfare of fishers and other stakeholders;
